Stages of Training for Officers in the Lebanese Army
- Initial training: military school (MS); 3 years
- Application course: in the 3rd year (MS) and for some officers, few months of application abroad
- Captains’ course : obligatory trainings; 3 months
- Battalion Commander course: obligatory trainings; 4 months (CSC)
- Staff course: selection based on competitive examination; 11 months (CSC)

The emblem of the College represents the following :
- Two spread Swords : Symbol of the officer’s command
- Two palms : Eternal vitality and generosity
- The Cedar : symbol of Lebanon: in all circumstances,it remains green and at the top for good
- The Flaming torch : Symbol of sacrifice and martyr

Missions of C.S.C
- It prepares officers of different arms to exercise command over tactical or logistic units or administrative services.
- It prepares officers to fulfill staff functions at different levels.
- Organizes training periods for acquisition of staff techniques.
- Increases the officers’ ability to better fulfill their missions by deepening their knowledge through studies and researches.
- Carries out researches, in favor of the army command, into some subjects of military strategy that might interest the national defense
