| 1- General conditions required:

The candidate must: |

Have a "baccalaureate" with at
least a 12 average. |

Be lebanese for at least 10 years. |
|

Having all his civil rights, have
never been convicted for any crime whatsoever, or for an attempted
crime, and have never spent over a 6-month period in jail. |

Single, divorced or widowed without children. |
|

Have a good behavior and high moral standards,
and is not addicted to alcohol, drugs or gambling. |

Be ready and willing to sign the contract
of volunteering. In accordance with the stipulations mentioned

Candidate must commit that he eliminated all joining
to any party whatsoever, organization or association, except
professional associations. |

Did not undergo before a surgery related to donating any organs of his body and to pledge not to undergo such operations during all the period of his military service. |

If the candidate is an actual or past recruit, he should not be registered as a logistic recruit. |

| 2- Special rules required:

| 2.1 |

Recruitment of army personnel internal security
forces, as well as general security forces, government security
forces, and customs security forces must meet the following
criteria: |

- |
Must be over 18 years of age, and under 22 years
of age. Those who are currently doing their military service
must be at least 23 years of age, and at least 24 years old
if he is an enlisted soldier in the army. The age is counted until the 31st of November of the year in which the demand was presented. |

- |
Must have a "baccalaureate" with at
least a 12 average.
When the ministry of defense declares that it needs student
officers who hold an university diploma, he must be under the
age of 24.

technical "baccalaureate" diploma with a minimum average
of 12. |

Recruitment of air force personnel: |

The student pilot officer must confirm with the
following conditions: |

a- Must be at least 18 years old, and under 22
years of age until the 31st of November of the year in which the demand was presented. |

b- Must have a "baccalaureate" with
at least a 12 average. |
|
| |

Student officer air observer (aircraft mechanics
- aircraft electronics - aircraft guns and ammunitions) : |
|

|
a- Same conditions as in section 2.1. |
|
| |
|
b- A certain number of the student officer air
observers will be recruited and trained at the officer's school.
The number of such recruits will be decided by the minister
of defense under the proposition of the armed force commander,
and the approval of the military council. |

Recruitment of naval personnel: |

Student officer - engineer:
The same conditions apply as those mentioned in section 2.1.

a- Must have a "baccalaureate" with
at least a 12 average. |

b- Must have studied math, chemistry or physics
at university, or must have successfully completed his first
year in the engineering studying. |

Student officer - naval :
The same conditions apply as those mentioned in section 2.1.

at least a 12 average. |

A document which proclaims a good moral pronounced
by the mayor, which prove good behavior and that he is not addicted to alcohol, drugs or gambling and which shows the family situation. |

An official record book proving that the candidate
has never been convicted. |
|
| |
- |
5 passport pictures: (3 facing the lens, and 2
of the profile). And 2 pictures of 8 x 12cm showing the entire
body standing, and certified by the mayor. |

| |
- |
Must have a "baccalaureate" with at
least a 12 average, or its equivalent, also with no less than
a 12 average. |
|
| |
- |
A copy of the "reserve card" certified
by the orientation directorate indicating which type of service
(normal or logistic). |
|
| |
- |
School transcripts for secondary school. |
|
| |
- |
A document released by the mobilization directorate
indicating the status or the candidate with regard to his military
service. |

For those currently engaged in their military
service: |

If one registers as a student officer he will
receive the salary of an enlisted officer. |

who were not accepted may switch to the army's program. |
