Visitors of the LAF Commander

Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Jean Kahwagi received in his office in Yarzeh the minister of interior and municipalities Mr. Nohad el Machnouk, accompanied by the general director of internal security Major General Ibrahim Basbous as well as the general director of general security Major General Abbas Ibrahim. Discussions focused on the latest security developments in Qaa as well as boosting the joint efforts in the face of terrorism. The parties of the meeting agreed to take a series of preventive security measures in different Lebanese regions in order to preserve security and stability and reassure citizens.

Moreover, General Kahwagi received the commander of the Malaysian Defense forces General Haji Zulkifeli Bin Mohd Zin who was heading an accompanying delegation where they discussed the bilateral relations between both armies as well as the missions of the Malaysian unit operating under the UNIFIL command.
