Has enrolled in the Army as a Cadet Officer, and was moved to the Military Academy starting 10/9/1959
Was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant starting 9/14/1962
Was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant starting 7/1/1966
Was promoted to the rank of Captain starting 1/1/1973
Was promoted to the rank of Major starting 1/1/1976
Was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel P.S.C starting 1/1/1980
Was promoted to the rank of Colonel P.S.C starting 1/1/ 19 86
Was promoted to the rank of General P.S.C starting 1/1/1991
Was promoted to the rank of Major General P.S.C starting 1/1/1995


3- Functions:
Was transferred to the 1st artillery regiment starting 8/11/1963 et was assigned to the 4 th battery
Was transferred to the 3rd battery at the 1st artillery regiment starting 12/1/1964
Was transferred to General Staff (2nd office) starting 6/1/1971
Was moved to the South Lebanon region (intelligence officer of the region, by interim) from 9/3/1972 to    10/5/1972
Was transferred to the Hammana site (under the disposal of the site commander) starting 6/12/1978
Was transferred to the battalion of the General HQ of the Army- direction of mobilization- chief of the    mobilization office of Beirut region, starting 10/31/1978
Was moved to the battalion of the Army HQ- personnel of Staff of the Army- direction of personnel    starting 6/1/1979
Was moved to battalion 43 starting 7/18/1979
Was appointed commander of the Beyt Eddyn site, by interim, in addition to his initial position starting    8/8/1979
Was transferred to the battalion of Mount Lebanon region HQ- site of Beyt Eddyn and of the security of    the site commandment, by interim, starting 12/6/1980
His resignation was accepted since 5/22/1983
Went back to the Army service since 2/14/1985
Was transferred to the 11th infantry brigade- company 1101, site of Hammana, commander of the site    by interim, and undertook the commandment position of Beyt Eddyn by interim, starting 4/1/1985
Was transferred to the battalion of the Army HQ of Beirut region starting 12/1/1988
Was appointed deputy-chief of Staff to the operations starting 11/12/1990
Was appointed chief of Staff by substitution starting 1/16/1991
Was appointed chief of Staff of the Army starting 12/10/1992
Retired on 7/1/1997 after reaching the legal retirement age

A course to be upgraded to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel from 9/17/1979 to 10/27/1979
