2 LAF posts under fire in Baalbek

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following the previous statement concerning the LAF executing a raid in Knayse that resulted in the death of 2 wanted individuals, the injury of another and the arrest of 5 others, 2 LAF posts in Baalbek were under fire by armed individuals, leading the troops to return the fire, thus resulting in the light injury of a soldier and 2 citizens due to stray bullets.

LAF units deployed in the region are performing search operations in search of the shooters in order to arrest them.
