2 soldiers injured during a raid for a wanted individual in Britel – Bekaa

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On this date, while an intelligence patrol was raiding the residence of wanted individual Abbas Ahmad Yaghi in Britel – Bekaa, the latter opened fire towards the patrol, injuring 2 soldiers, one of them being in a critical condition, thus causing the troops of the patrol to return fire towards the shooters who escaped to an unknown destination. Search operation are ongoing in order to arrest the perpetrators.
