4 individuals arrested, vehicles and different items confiscated

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Army units deployed in the Bekaa valley arrested 3 individuals and confiscated 3 cisterns transporting around 60647 liters of diesel.

In related news, an individual was arrested and a pickup carrying cleaning materials and food substances was confiscated at the northern side of the Lebanese – Syrian border. 3 metal bridges in illegal crossing points were removed in the process.

The suspects and the confiscated items and goods were turned in to the relevant judiciary authorities.

The Military Institution continues to take the necessary measures with the aim of controlling the border and thwarting smuggling through illegal crossing points.
