The Armed forces Commander General Joseph Aoun toured the Rangers regiment

The Armed forces Commander General Joseph Aoun visited this morning the Rangers regiment barrack in Roumieh and toured its commands and units and was informed of its training activities and operational mission. General Aoun also met with the officers and soldiers and provided them with the necessary instructions. Moreover, General Aoun commended the efforts and constant preparedness of the troops for swift and active intervention and stressed the importance of boosting qualitative and professional training in order to enhance the combat level of the units in order to use them for any new weapon or equipment received by the army with high efficiency and productivity.
Furthermore, General Aoun confirmed that the security situation in the country is under the complete control of the army and that any breach of security and stability will be tackled with firmness. General Aoun stated that the qualitative operation executed by an army force this morning in Ersal proves again that there is no safe haven for terrorists in any Lebanese region and that the army is able to detect and instantly fight any terrorist existence and activity.
General Aoun ended by inviting the troops to commit to professionalism and discipline and to remain at the side of the citizens as well as be constantly prepared to keep up with different expected developments.
