The Army Command denies news reported on social media platforms

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Social media platforms have reported a photograph showing dozens of fuel trucks claiming that they are being used to smuggle Diesel from Lebanon to Syria.

The Army Command denies the content of the mentioned photograph and confirms that it was not taken at the Lebanese – Syrian border. Additionally, the Army Command confirms that LAF units are taking all necessary action to control the border, prevent smuggling and close all illegal border crossings.
