Arrest of Individuals for Committing Various Crimes, Including Trafficking in Military Weapons and Drugs, and Firing at an Army Patrol

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested, in Shatila, the citizen (AA.Y.), wanted for committing several crimes, including forming a drug trafficking and distribution gang, shooting, theft, and provoking clashes. During the arrest operation, members of his gang opened fire toward the patrol, which responded in kind, resulting in his injury. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Another patrol in Bakhaoun – Dinnieh arrested the citizen (M.Y.) for trafficking in military weapons and seized three assault rifles and a pistol in his possession.

Additionally, another patrol in Tripoli arrested the citizens (AA.Ch.) and (M.H.) for throwing a Molotov cocktail on November 1, 2025, at a liquor store in Sikkat Al Chamal of the city.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities with a follow up to arrest the rest of the involved.
