Arrest of a two individuals in Tahwitat al Ghadir for promoting drugs

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Syrian (A.A.) who’s wanted for various offences and the Syrian (M.M.) after being caught in the act while promoting narcotics.

The arrestees were seized in possession of an amount of cocaine, hashish and a sum of money.

During the investigation, (A.A.) admitted that he promotes narcotics, hashish, cocaine and crack cocaine and the arrestee (M.M.) helps him by receiving payments from customers.

Investigations showed that (A.A.) forms a gang with (K.A.) and his brother (Ch.A.) that robs citizens, commits shootings and theft by force of arms, promotes narcotics. (A.A.) had recently stolen a number of motorcycles.

The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
