Arrest of Two People and Seizing of Drugs

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 17/10/2020, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in Jisr el-Basha - Mount Lebanon raided the house of (CH.A.), where he was arrested. A large quantity of drugs (395 packets of narcotic substances) was seized in his possession.  The patrol also arrested his brother-in-law, called (CH.A.), for resisting and trying to flee.

In addition, a patrol from the aforementioned directorate along with another LAF unit raided in the Marjheen-el-Hermel the house of (N.A.) and seized a large quantity of drugs.

An investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the judicial authority.
