Arrest of wanted outlaws in Baalbek and in the southern suburb and confiscation of weapons and narcotics

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A Raid launched this dawn by the Directorate of Intelligence, assisted by a military force targeted the residences of wanted outlaws in Horsh el-Katil – BirHasan where Hasan Ali Abdallah was arrested for trafficking narcotics. The arrests also included the citizens: Atef Mohammad el-Arab, Ali Hani Diab, Mohammad Hani Diab, KhodorMosbah Saleh and his brother Mohsen for opening fire at previous incidents. During the raid, the army troops confiscated a Kalashnikov, a pistol, a communication device and a quantity of light ammunition, different military equipment and marijuana. Furthermore, army forces have arrested in el-Sifri – Baalbek and in HaretHreik and el-Shiyah – Southern suburb of Beirut the citizens Ali Youssef Jaafar, Mohammad Ahmad Amhaz, Hasan Ali Jaafar and Hussein Abdel Mawla. The suspects were arrested for opening fire at previous incidents.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated items were turned in to the competent authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
