Arresting individuals and confiscating weapons and narcotics in Tripoli

The Army Headquarters- Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An army patrol raided the residences of wanted individuals in Abi Samra - Tripoli and managed to arrest citizen Ahmad Moustafa Kanaan Sidawi, wanted for opening fire using combat weapons and trafficking narcotics and confiscated in his possession narcotic pills. Moreover, Army forces arrested in the same location citizens Hassan Melhem Bayan and Oubeyda Fadi Abd el Wahad for attempting to escape the patrol. Furthermore, Army forces confiscated in the possession of Abd el Wahad 4 combat guns as well as some light ammunition, military equipment and narcotics.

The arrested individuals were turned in along with the confiscated items to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
