Ceremony celebrating the conclusion of a number of aid projects in border control and monitoring executed by the Danish authorities to the benefit of the Army and Security Agencies.

The Airport Security Agency Command in Rafik Hariri International Airport – Beirut hosted a ceremony on the occasion of concluding a number of aid projects in border control and monitoring in the presence of Brigadier General P.S.C Ziad Chahine who represented Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun and the Ambassador of Denmark to Lebanon Mr. Svend Waever who headed an accompanying delegation.
The projects were executed by the Danish authorities to the benefit of the Lebanese Army and Security Agencies and two graduation sessions of officers and NCOs were also celebrated in the event.
Brigadier General P.S.C Chahine read an appreciation letter on behalf of General Aoun and delivered it to the Danish Ambassador in addition to the Army’s commemorative shield as a token of appreciation and gratitude. In his turn, Ambassador Waever delivered a speech on the occasion where he expressed his country’s appreciation to the efforts exerted by the Lebanese Army with the aim of keeping stability in Lebanon and fighting terrorism. He confirmed his country’s determination to keep on bolstering the capabilities of the army units and regiments charged with border control.
