Cooperation agreement signed between the LAF and USEK

The Army Command Headquarters in Yarzeh hosted this morning the signature of a cooperation agreement between the LAF and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) and included offering special facilities to active duty and retired troops as well as the family members of martyr troops. LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun signed the agreement on behalf of the LAF while Father Dr. Talal Hachem President of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) signed on behalf of the university during a gathering attended by Army officers and a delegation of the university administration.

General Aoun expressed his gratitude to the University for this initiative and stressed that the Army encourages all the troops and officers to continue their educational attainment which became a necessity in terms of developing capabilities in all the fields of life considering the fast-paced scientific developments around the world. In his turn, Father Dr. Hachem confirmed that USEK has made cooperation with the Military Institution a top priority since it considers the LAF as the primary protector of civil peace and security in Lebanon.
