A fishing boat seized with 43 individuals on board facing Qalamoun

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, as a result of information provided to the Intelligence directorate concerning a boat illegally sailing towards Cyprus, facing Qalamoun shore – Tripoli, with 42 Syrian and Bengali individuals on board, an intelligence patrol seized the mentioned boat in cooperation with the Naval Forces and worked on retrieving it.

Investigations were carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
