Wednesday, 23 September 2020

On 23/9/2020, the  Training Institute for Privates hosted the graduation ceremony of soldiers and recruits with extended services who completed the designated training period. The ceremony was headed by Brigadier General P.S.C Yaachoub Mouawad who represented the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun and attended by a number of officers.

Brigadier General P.S.C Yaachoub Mouawad delivered a speech on the occasion in which he noted: You graduate today in the midst of the dangers and challenges that Lebanon faces on more than one level, especially the threat of the Israeli enemy and terrorism, while the state institutions, especially LAF, are struggling to deal with the repercussions of the Beirut port blast and contribute to Lebanon's rise from this severe crisis. This goes with the army command’s determination to pursue those who violate security and to protect Lebanon and its institutions, offering massive sacrifices and several of martyrs and  wounded for the sake of the homeland.

At the end of the ceremony, a military parade was held, in which the graduating units participated.
