Honoring ceremony of the Army Chief of Staff on the occasion of his retirement

LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun headed a ceremony in honor of Army Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak who retired on pension. The ceremony was attended by the members of the Military Council and senior Army Command officers. General Aoun delivered a speech on the occasion where he praised the career of Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak who left bright prints in all the positions that he was charged with up to the position of Army Chief of Staff. General Aoun Noted that Mallak is one of the elite officers and a self-made man who transformed objectivity, selflessness and devotion in performing the duties into a way of life, cared for the smallest details, and sought the best in everything.

In his turn, Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to LAF Commander and to the officers and troops for their amiability and trust and noted that he served the Army for 4 decades with honor and loyalty in a career that was crowned with the position of Chief of Staff. He confirmed that he is confident that the Military Institution will remain loyal to its vow and promises under the wing of a wise command, hero troops and the men of honor, loyalty, sacrifice and loyalty.

General Aoun concluded the ceremony by offering to Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak the Army Shield as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
