Honoring ceremony to the martyrs of Aana – the Bekaa

Under the patronage of Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, the municipality of Aana in cooperation with “Tourath wa watan” Association hosted a ceremony in honor of the town’s martyrs. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General P.S.C who represented LAF Commander in addition to a number of official, political, religious, social and educational figures. Brigadier General el-Hajj Hasan delivered a speech on the occasion where he said: the convoys of martyrs keep passing through one after the other since the establishment of the Lebanese Armed Forces and has offered pious blood that quenched the country’s thirst and bloomed with exceptional feats such as repelling the Israeli enemy from the beloved southern regions and liberating the eastern border from terrorism. We are confident that the solidarity of the Lebanese citizens and their support to the Military Institution are capable of protecting the nation from any threat. I seize this occasion to extend my deepest sense of respect to our pious martyrs in the heavens and we vow before them that we shall never forget them and that we will forever remain loyal to their journey so that their achievements stay immortal in our conscience and spirit.
