Individuals arrested and materials set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

From 31/09/2021 until 2/9/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa arrested 6 citizens and 3 Syrians, and seized 5 cars, a pickup and a van loaded with a quantity of fuel set for smuggling out of Lebanese territory. It was estimated at 7,500 liters of gasoline, in addition to an amount of cigarettes and food items.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
