Individuals arrested in Sahra Choueifat

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (R.M.) in Sahra Choueifat for promoting and abusing narcotics and for forming with others a theft and fraud gang and for luring and beating young individuals, robbing them and taking photos of them for the purpose of blackmail.
The patrol also arrested the citizen (A.S.) for promoting and abusing narcotics and seized in his possession an amount of Cocaine, Hashish and a stolen motorcycle.
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (A.S.) in Hay el Sellom, who is one of the fugitives who escaped from Al Labwa ISF post during the riots that took place there a while back.
The arrestee is wanted for several arrest warrants: abusing narcotics, shooting, transporting military firearms and ammunition. He was seized in possession of an amount of Hashish and a sum of money.
The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
