Joint drill “Resolute Response” joined LAF and U.S. training team

LAF units with the participation of a U.S. training team conducted the “Resolute Response” drill in the presence of Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Brigadier General P.S.C Nawaf el-Jebawi and the United States Military Attaché in Lebanon Colonel Michael Feely as well as LAF and U.S officers. Units from the Lebanese Navy, Engineering Regiment, Navy Commandos, Military Police, and the Directorate of Civil – Military Cooperation participated in the drill. The objective of the drill was to enhance the level of combat performance, dispose of unexploded ammunition, intercept and inspect ships, search and rescue, boost civil – military cooperation, improve forensic evidence training and diving medicine. This drill is part of a series of training exercises aimed at enhancing the capabilities of different army units while working in the sea and coordinating their joint efforts to confront naval threats.
