Meetings of General Joseph Aoun

Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Head of Mission and Chief of Staff of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization UNTSO Major General Kristin Lund. Talks during the visit addressed the situation at the southern border and the relation of cooperation between the Army and the Organization in the frame of the Truce Agreement and resolution 1701. In related news, General Aoun received a delegation of the Lions Club headed by Governor Dr. Nasrallah Bourji and discussions during the visit tackled different issues.
