The minister of National Defense and the LAF Commander toured the main campus in Hadath

The minister of national Defense Mr Yaakoub el Sarraf and LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi toured the Rafik Hariri main campus of the Lebanese University in Hadath where they inspected the conduct of the written tests for the candidates for specialized officers. Mr. Sarraf and General Kahwagi were informed by the general inspecting committee and the written exams comittee of the organization and management procedures taken in order to ensure that the exams are taking place in conformity with the required academic and educational standards. Moreover, mr. Sarraf commended the cooperation of the Lebanese University and the efforts of officers, doctors, engineers and college professors participating in the preparation for the tests and following up with their different stages. Mr. Sarraf also stated that the eagerness of the Lebanese youth to enlist in the army is a pertinent proof of their deep belief in the nation as well as their confidence in the army's national role and institutional conduct, particularly in adopting the standards of competence and elligibility as the only base for enlistement.
