Raid in al-Jamaliah and Kafar Zabad carried out by LAF, arrest of individuals and seizing of narcotics and weapons

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 10/04/2021, a LAF unit along with members from the intelligence Directorate raided two warehouses and buildings in al-Jamaliah – Baalbek, on suspicion that narcotics factories were inside.

(H.M.) and the Syrian (A.A.) were arrested in possession of weapons, ammunition, a large quantity of Hashish, Captagon-producing machines , raw materials used in their manufacture, a poclain, 4 tractors, a Toyota Land Cruiser, 6 generators and a water pump.

In the town of Kafar Zabad – Bekaa, they also raided a residence, a farm and a tent placed in the town’s plain, belonging to a group of people who are active in smuggling.

(R.Ch.), (W.Ch.), an unregistered resident (A.R.) and two Syrians (A.M.) and (A.M.) were arrested. Also, weapons, ammunition, a Nissan Jeep, mobile phones, security cameras, and containers that contain cigarettes and others that contain sneakers, were seized and all were meant to be smuggled.
