Reception and Opening Ceremony of the eighth Regional Convention
The Central Military Club – Manara hosted the reception and opening ceremony of the eighth Regional Convention under the title “Supporting Stability and Development in the Arab Countries and the Middle East Region”. The Convention is organized by the Lebanese Army Center for Research and Strategic Studies and under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun with the participation of national, diplomatic and military figures as well as researchers and academic professors from Lebanon, Arab and regional countries as well as figures from various organizations.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Mr. Pierre Raffoul who represented His Excellency the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun, MP Kasem Hachem who represented His Excellency the Speaker Mr. Nabih Berry, Minister of Communication and MP Jamal el-Jarrah who represented his Excellency Prime Minister Saad el-Hariri and the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun in addition to the figures who participated in the Convention and a crowd of guests.
Minister of State Raffoul delivered a speech on the occasion. In his turn, Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun delivered a speech.
The Head of the Convention General Committee Brigadier General P.S.C Fadi Abi Farraj delivered the opening speech of the Convention where he highlighted the program and events and stressed its importance to the Middle East region.
