Security measures to secure the parliamentary session

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On the occasion of the parliamentary set to discuss the ministerial statement and the vote of confidence on 11 and 12/2/2020, LAF units took exceptional security measures at the surrounding of the Parliament, the highways and bystreets leading to the Parliament.
The Army Command calls upon the citizens to cooperate with the measures by refraining from cutting roads as stipulated by law in order to preserve peace and stability. The Army Command stresses on its role in protecting state institutions and constitutional sessions and confirms its respect to the freedom of peaceful demonstration and rallying in public squares.
