Security Measures Taken By The LAF During February In Various Lebanese Regions during the past month of July

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of the security measures taken by Army units in different Lebanese regions during the past month of July, these units arrested around 3326 individuals of different nationalities, some of them for being involved in different crimes, trafficking narcotics, theft, smuggling and possession of weapons and narcotics and others for committing different violations that include unlawful roaming in the Lebanese territories and unlawfully driving cars and motorcycles.

The seized items confiscated during the arrests included military weapons of different calibers, light and medium caliber ammunition, narcotics, communication equipment, surveillance cameras in addition to 85 vehicles, 74 motorcycles and 2 fishing boats.

The arrested individuals were turned in along with the confiscated items to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
