Syrian individuals arrested while attempting to infiltrate the Lebanese territories

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, at 4.00, the LAF found in Soueiri – Bekaa 200 Syrians attempting to infiltrate the Lebanese territories. A group of smugglers opened fire towards the LAF and the smuggled individuals, leading to the death of a woman and the injury of 4, all of them are Syrian. The mentioned individuals were transferred to a local hospital for treatment. The LAF returned fire and arrested a large number of the smuggled groups.

The LAF continue to trace down the shooters while the arrested individuals were turned in to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
