The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A tripartite agreement took place this morning in Ras el-Naqoura headed by International Force Commander Head of Mission Major General Stefano Del Colin in the presence of a delegation of LAF officers led by the government commissioner at the United Nations Brigadier General P.S.C and pilot Amin Farhat.

The Lebanese side stressed the Lebanese government stance concerning Lebanon’s sovereignty over its land, water and oil riches and the rejection of Israeli violations in the air, sea and on land as well as the rejection of repeated provocations and demanded their cessation. The Lebanese side also renewed its demand to withdraw from the farms of Chebaa and the hills of Kfarshouba as well as the occupied part of the Ghajar town. The Lebanese side considered that enemy claims concerning the existence of tunnels at the southern border are merely allegations at the moment. The Lebanese side asked for accurate information and coordinates of the locations of the claimed tunnels to act appropriately. The Lebanese side stressed Lebanon’s commitment to resolution 1701 and its commitment to the internationally recognized border. The Lebanese side demanded the implementation of the United Nations resolution 13/L73 that demands the Israeli enemy side to pay compensations as retribution for its aggression against the Lebanese oil facilities of Jiyeh in 2006 that caused huge ecological damages worth around 856.4 million dollars. The Lebanese delegation called the international community and the United Nations to exert pressure over the Israeli enemy to implement the mentioned resolution.
