Turning in an arrested individual to the relevant authorities for belonging to the terrorist ISIS organization

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, the Intelligence Directorate turned in to the relevant authorities Syrian Yehya Ahmad Amer for belonging to the terrorist ISIS organization and for participating in the events of Ersal against the Lebanese Armed Forces as well as providing refuge to armed individuals, transferring them and providing weapons and combat ammunition for the sake of terrorist organizations and participating in launching rockets towards the Lebanese territories. Amer had also been arrested for putting forth a scheme prepared by the terrorist groups with the aim of taking control of Lebanese villages at the eastern mountain range in addition to providing the necessary material in order to manufacture bombs and use them in order to wire vehicles which were detonated later on in Lebanon.
