Two individuals arrested at Harbata checkpoint – Bekaa

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 22/12/ 2021, after monitoring and tracking by the Intelligence Directorate, a force from the army, supported by a patrol from the aforementioned directorate, arrested the citizen (H.D) and his wife (S.N.D) at Harbata checkpoint - Bekaa, due to the presence of arrest warrants issued against them.

On 19/12/2021, the husband had shot a citizen at Maali-Hermel killing him. The arrestee was found in possession of a handgun and ammunition.

The investigation began with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
