Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander
The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the counsellor of the British Ministry of Defense for Middle Eastern Affairs, Lieutenant General John Lorimer, accompanied by assistant Chief of Staff of British Defense for Defensive Intervention Major General Giles Hill, with the presence of Ambassador Hugo Shorter and military attaché Lieutenant Colonel Chris Gunning where they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region as well as the British Aid prograsm offered to the LAF. Moreover, the Commander of the French Naval Forces operating in the Mediterranean Admiral Charles Henri De La Faverie De Ché with the presence of Military French Attaché Colonel Christian Ayrault, accompanied by Naval Captain Romain Lehoux where they discussed the bilateral relations between both armies, particularly cooperation in the naval field.
