Visitors of the Armed forces Commander
The Armed forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Commander of the Marines in the US Central Command Lieutenant General William Beydler who was heading an accompanying delegation with the presence of Ambassador Elizabeth Richard and US Defense attaché Colonel Ulises V. Calvo where they discussed the US Aid program for the LAF as well as boosting the cooperation in terms of equipping and training units.
General Aoun also received a delegation from the Lebanese committee for agricultural development headed by Dr. Hanna el Khoury, then the dean of the faculty of medicine in the Lebanese University Dr. Pierre Yared as well as the head of Jeitawi hospital sister Hadia Abi Chebl where they discussed the medical cooperation between both sides.
