Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh Major General Michael Langley US CENTCOM director for strategy plans and policy, who was heading an accompanying delegation and with the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Ms. Elizabeth Richard. Discussions focused on the general situation and the relations of cooperation between both armies. Moreover, General Aoun received the Special Secretary for Strategic Affairs of the Brazilian government Mr. Hussein Kalout, then the Chief of Staff of the truce surveillance committee in the UN, Major General Kristin Lund where they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region. General Aoun also received minister Pierre Raffoul, accompanied by Dr. Ahmad Hassoun, then the Secretary General of the Mourabitoun movement, retired Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan where they discussed different affairs.
