Visitors of General Aoun

The LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the strategic adviser charged with the British security cooperation program related to the border control project retired General Graeme Lamb who headed an accompanying delegation. The British Defense Attaché in Lebanon Lieutenant Colonel Alex Hilton accompanied General Lamb in his visit where discussions addressed the assistance offered by the British authorities aimed at controlling the land border. General Aoun also received during the day the Head of Mission and Chief of Staff of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) Major General Kristin Lund. Discussions during this visit tackled the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
