Raid and Arrest of 8 Individuals in the Towns of Aarsal and Brital – Baalbek

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On March 13, 2025, a unit from the army, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in the town of Aarsal - Baalbek, and arrested citizens (Kh.H.) and (A.H.) for trafficking in military weapons, seizing a quantity of such weapons. Additionally, citizens (AA.F.), (M.F.), (AA.H.), (KH.R.), and (B.H.) were arrested for drug abuse.
Another unit also raided the residences of wanted individuals in Brital - Baalbek, arresting the citizen (M.S.) and confiscating a quantity of weapons and military ammunition.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
