The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 02/12/2022, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Al Donniyeh the citizen (H.T.) for heading a gang that forges foreign passports and promotes drugs.
On a previous date, the patrol had arrested two gangsters in Jounieh for roaming without identity papers and seized in their possession 7 forged Australian residencies belonging to an Iraqi family living in Iraq.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of competent judicial authorities. The pursuit to arrest the remaining gang members is under way.
