The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 23/3/2023, after a monitoring and follow-up operation, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate at Al-Awali checkpoint - entrance of Sidon arrested the citizen (N.T.), who is one of the most prominent arms dealers, and seized 5 Kalashnikovs, 11 guns, and a large amount of ammunition inside his car.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
