103 Syrians arrested in several Lebanese regions

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Lebanese Army units deployed in the region of Baalbeck launched a series of raids on this dawn and the raids included Syrian refugee camps in the villages of el-Taybeh, el- Hammoudieh, Younin, Tal Abiad, el-Hadidieh and Douris. 103 Syrian nationals were arrested during the raids for their illegal presence inside Lebanese territories.
9 motorcycles and 2 cars without the legal papers were seized during the raids and two Lebanese citizens were arrested for the possession of a Kalashnikov and military pistol.
The seized items and the arrested individuals were turned in to the competent authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
