Arrest of Syrians within the framework of security monitoring and investigation into the murder of the citizen Yasser Al Koukash

The Lebanese Army Command- Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
In continuation of the statement regarding the security monitoring and investigation into the murder of the citizen Yasser Al Koukash in Al Azouniyyah - Aley, an army unit, with the support of a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested the Syrians (AA.Kh.) and (AA.A.) on 18/04/2024, while attempting to illegally flee to Syria through the land border in Al Masnaa. They were arrested due to their involvement in the crime.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
