Combat drill in Rashaya simulating an attack against terrorist groups

The 3rd Infantry Brigade conducted a live fire combat drill in the region of Yabseh – outskirts of Rashaya village and simulated an attack launched against terrorist groups entrenched in rugged border areas and the annihilation of these groups in the presence of senior Army officers from the largest army units, brigades and independent regiments.
Mortars and canons were used during the drill in addition to light and heavy machine guns and IEDs.
This drill comes as part of the qualitative training plan set by the Army to ensure the preparedness of the units and their readiness to intervene swiftly and effectively in different combat conditions.
