The LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi visited the 4th intervention regiment in Jnah

The LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi visited this morning the 4th intervention regiment in Jnah where the newly built basic training center was inaugurated in order to train the troops of the regiment in the army. Afterwards, the LAF Commander visited the different workshops of the regiment and attended joint drills between the workshops that were performed by highly trained troops.
Moreover, General Kahwagi met with the officers and soldiers and commended their efforts in order to develop the capabilities of the regiments. General Kahwagi also stressed the importance of training  in order to maintain the prepardness of units and their readiness for swift intervention in case of any security breach. The LAF Commander stated that the security situation is under control and the army is now stronger than any time before and it continues to face terrorist organizations at the borders with high success and firmness and to eradicate their webs. General Kahwagi added: there is no fear for the state and its institutions and the journey of security and stability as long as our capable army exists. The army that commits to ultimate loyalty to the nation and that holds no place for politics and sectarianism.
