The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander received the German ambassador to Lebanon and signed an agreement to finance the establishment of bread ovens in the army

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh, the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, in the presence of the German military attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Kai Zimmerman. The discussion covered cooperation between the Lebanese and German armies, and support for the military establishment in light of the current exceptional situation.
General Aoun and Ambassador Stoeckl-Stillfried signed an agreement under which the German authorities will finance the establishment of bread ovens in the army, thus contributing to supporting nutrition within the army and reducing the financial cost it bears.
