A live fire maneuver in Aakoura

With the presence of officers from the LAF and security units, 3rd year cadets in the military academy performed with the participation of several army units a live fire maneuver in Aakoura, simulating taking down terrorist groups deployed in the barren lands of the region.
During the maneuver, shootings with artillery, tanks, helicopters, bombs and light and medium weapons took place. The maneuver also included disembarkation and the evacuation of injured individuals from the battlefield using helicopters.
This maneuver was distinguished with high precision and efficiency as well as good coordination between different participating units and weapons.
