Receiving 2 reconnaissance and filming drones from the US authorities at the Beirut airbase

In the presence of Deputy of Chief of Staff for Equipment Brigadier General Manuel Kerjian who represented the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi, the United States Ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Richard Jones, a number of LAF officers and the United States Embassy Staff, the Lebanese Army received from the United States authorities in Beirut Air Base today at noon 2 reconnaissance and filming drones equipped with state of the art features.
Ambassador Jones delivered a speech on the occasion where he voiced his appreciation to the authorities of his country for the major accomplishments of the LAF in fighting terrorism and preserving the stability of Lebanon. Ambassador Jones also confirmed the will of his country’s authorities to continue boosting the logistic and combat capabilities of the LAF in the frame of the aid program and the treaties intended for both sides.
