A seminar on the occasion of the launch of the cooperation between the LAF and the delegation of the International Committee of the Red cross

the International Committee of the Red cross in Lebanon held in collaboration with LAF a seminar at the Central Military Hotel (Monroe) on the occasion of the launch of the bilateral cooperation in the field of training to abide by the International Humanitarian Law. The seminar included a ceremony in which certificates were offered to several officers who attended a preparation course for trainers concerning the mentioned Law.
Brigadier General P.S.C Naim Ziade attended the seminar as representative of LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi, along with several officers, the Deputy Head of Delegation at International Committee of the Red Cross Mr. Marco Succi, the regional commissary of the International Committee to the Armed Forces Mr. Ahmad Zakaria and the Commissary of the International Committee to the Armed Forces Mr. Constantinos Metropoulos.
During the seminar, the director of the International Humanitarian Law  and Human Rights in the LAF Brigadier General P.S.C Elias Abou Jaoude delivered a speech in which he showcased the steps taken by the Army Command in the frame of implementing the International Humanitarian Law and respecting Human Rights, particularly during the execution of combat missions and security preservation operations.
