Separating protesters and removing dirt blocks in front of a voting center in old Akkar

The Army Headquarters- Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
This morning, after several citizens put dirt blocks in Old Akkar in front of a voting center in the public school with the aim of closing it and blocking the road leading to it, LAF forces intervened and worked on separating the protesters, removing the blocks and restoring the normal situation to the region. During these events, armed individuals opened fire from the nearby hills, which resulted in the LAF forces returning fire. Moreover, LAF Forces began performing raids and search operations in order to find the shooters.
