A symbolic military celebration in the ministry of national defense on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of resistance and liberation

On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of resistance and liberation, a symbolic ceremony was held this morning in the square of the ministry of nationaly defense in Yarzeh. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Walid Selman representing the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi as well as commanders of units and bureaus of the command along with officers and civil employees where the ceremony of hoisting the flag took place and the order of the day delivered by the LAF Commander to the troops was recited.
Moreover, ceremonies were held in the headquarters of regions and in academies, schools, air and naval forces and other major units. The ceremonies included reciting the order of the day and performing symbolic military parades. Furthermore, delegations from the Army Command visited the units deployed in the South and congratulated them on the occasion.
